DHM are very pleased to announce that our winter appeal, ‘Operation Warm Embrace’ has now raised over £18,000 to bring relief to many communtiies suffering this winter in Ukraine.
So far, DHM has delivered seven large generators to our partners in eastern Ukraine and these are already in action. They are keeping the most vulnerable warm at a time where electricity is often off for 6 hours – and only on for 3 hours on a regular basis.
Two more large generators are on their way to Ukraine from the UK. That’s in addition to the eleven generators donated this week through the generous support of Ringwood Tool Aid – also on their journey to assist in keeping many warm and safe this winter. ‘Operation Warm Embrace’ has also funded powerbank device chargers and a number of wood stoves .
DHM and our partners in Ukraine are so grateful for the generosity of our supporters and partners Toola Aid Ringwood and and the BEARR trust. We will continue to send aid as we can so that:
