DHM is a values-based organisation that is based on relationships of trust and integrity. We are blessed to be served by an amazing team of dedicated and passionate people who give freely of their energy and talents to serve the work of the charity in advancing the Kingdom of God in Ukraine. We are always on the lookout for committed people who have a passion for mission and who can use their gifts and skills to serve this mission.
The DHM Board of Trustees is therefore delighted to welcome its newest member, Roger Martin. Roger brings to the Board a wealth of valuable experience and a strong track record of overseeing complex civil engineering projects for the public and private sector.
Roger is an ordained church minister in North West London, serving Lindsay Park Baptist Church as their pastor. Prior to entering full-time ministry in 2016, Roger was a Senior Project Manager for a Civil Engineering Company, involved in the bidding and project management of infrastructure projects for inland waterways flood defences, primarily for the Environment Agency and formerly managed road, bridge and airfield projects.
Four years into that career, spanning 28 years, Roger came to faith in Christ and served his local church as a youth leader, deacon, and elder.
At the time of joining DHM as a Trustee in 2020, Roger has also been married for 28 years to Sarah, who is a former banker, parish administrator, church treasurer and now church co-leader. They have two married sons who, along with their wives are involved in their local church ministries in the city of Coventry.
Welcome, Roger!
