Gill Jowett

Gill Jowett was a podiatrist in central London before bringing up her family.  She has been married for 33 years and, with her husband, is passionate about mission. They have participated in several trips visiting missionaries throughout the world and being involved in their projects.  It was a privilege for her to visit Ukraine with DHM in 2019 and to appreciate the warm welcome of the Ukrainians as well the huge need of so many in that country.  She was born in South London and became a Christian at the age of four.  She worked for a couple of years in Stoke-on-Trent and also lived in Zürich for three years.  She was chair of governors at a local primary school for over ten years and has been involved in her local church in various roles.  She enjoys having people in her home, playing the piano and attempting to keep up her German!
